    Health Check Instructions

     

    • A Health Check Package must be purchased for package add-ons to be available.
    • A light, healthy breakfast will be provided with all packages.
    • Please arrive at your scheduled appointment on time and report to the reception desk.
    • Dress comfortably.
    • A fasting of 8-10 hours will ONLY be required if the patient needs a Fasting Blood Sugar Test.
    • Do not smoke cigarettes, cigars, or pipe the morning of your appointment.
    • Please bring the following items to your appointment:
      • Medications you are currently taking
      • Any relevant or current medical records
      • Past laboratory reports
      • Relevant X-Ray reports
    • Please report the following during admission:
      • If you are diabetic
      • If you have any current or past medical history of serious injury or illness
      • If you are taking over the counter medications or vitamins regularly
    • Additional instructions for Colonoscopy and Gastroscopy will be provided separately.

    Our hospital is staffed with world-class consultants with many years of experience. Therefore, you can be assured of the highest level of clinical care. Your appointments, surgery, and follow ups will be conducted by your consultant.
    Our outpatient services operate from 08:00 - 21:00 Monday to Friday and Saturday 09:00 - 13:00. Post operatively, if a consultant decided they needed to see a patient urgently this would be co-ordinated by our out-of-hours team. The hospital is open 7 days a week, 52 weeks of the year for our patients’ convenience.
    Once your surgery is scheduled, you will be assigned to a Patient Care Coordinator, who is part of our Patient Care Relations Team. A team member contacts and liaises with every patient, prior to scheduling and through the discharge process. This includes scheduling medical appointments, coordinating admissions and discharge, organising your travel and accommodations, and managing billing and payment.
    The hospital is conveniently located at 1283 Sea View Road, near High Rock in the East End District of Grand Cayman. It is a 30-minute drive from the Owen Roberts International Airport, with direct flights that are just 1 hour from Miami and only 45 minutes from Jamaica. Other weekly direct flights to Grand Cayman include those from the Bahamas, Havana, London, La Ceiba and many other North American cities like Atlanta, Boston, Charlotte, Chicago – ORD, Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston, Newark, New York – JFK, Philadelphia, Toronto, and Washington, DC – Dulles.
