About

Dr Sunaina Rao is an experienced Paediatrician and Neonatology specialist with more than six years of clinical experience. Her expertise includes neonatal intensive care, the management of premature and critically ill newborns, paediatric emergency care and general paediatric services. She is committed to providing compassionate, family-focused care and supporting parents throughout every stage of their child’s treatment. Dr Sunaina completed her MBBS at A. J. Institute of Medical Sciences and earned her MD in Paediatrics from MVJ Medical College and Research Centre in Bengaluru, India. She subsequently completed a Fellowship in Neonatology with the National Neonatology Forum at Indiana Hospital, Mangaluru, where she continued as a Fellow and Senior Resident. Her international experience includes working within the Department of Respiratory Medicine at Northern Care Alliance in Manchester and completing a paediatric observership at North Manchester General Hospital. Before joining Health City Cayman Islands, Dr Sunaina worked as a Junior Consultant in the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Narayana Multispeciality Hospital in Bengaluru.
