Dr Viraj Shanbhag

Dr Viraj Shanbhag is a fellowship-trained Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Surgeon with more than 11 years of post-MS experience across arthroscopy, sports injuries, joint replacement, trauma, hand surgery and limb reconstruction. His clinical approach combines evidence-based treatment with a strong focus on restoring function, mobility and quality of life.

Dr Viraj completed his MS in Orthopaedics at Mysore Medical College & Research Institute and later became a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He undertook advanced fellowships in Hand and Reconstructive Microsurgery at Christian Medical College, Vellore, and National University Hospital, Singapore, before completing a National Board Fellowship in Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine at Artemis Hospital, Gurugram. His experience also includes senior consultant and specialist roles across high-volume orthopaedic centres in India and Singapore.
